Our Story

"How Are You?" started off a passion project born during the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the most challenging periods in our lives. As part of a National Youth Council initiative, the Youth Action Challenge, a diverse group of young people from various disciplines, including psychology, social work, medicine, marketing and backgrounds spanning the UK, Australia, and Singapore came together to address fundamental needs around mental health and wellbeing. Our goal is to normalize daily conversations about how we feel and encourage open self-expression.

Most organisations & programmes out there requires individuals to first seek help or ask "are you ok?" - only when things are not right.

 

However we are one step ahead by asking "how are you?" and having honest and quality conversations, which is preemptive and can be easily embed into daily lives.

Most organisations & programmes use frameworks and content that are complex and heavy which could be confusing and daunting.

With qualifications in behavioural and implementation science, psychology and mental health studies, we make learning more palatable and practical.

With our multidisciplinary training and experience, we are able to integrate domains holistically to foster behaviour change, social awareness and improves overall well-being.

We measure success for you using science-backed methodology, hence we are able to share with you the impact (or ROI) and change the programme have on your communities. 

Our Team

Our team is composed of professionals from diverse disciplines, including behavioural science, implementation science, psychology, counselling, social work, medicine, marketing, and population health. Our members hold qualifications from esteemed institutions such as the University of Cambridge, the National University of Singapore, King's College London, and Monash University.

Our lead trainers and curriculum designers hold Master degrees in areas such as Behavioural and Implementation Science, Mental Health Studies, and Counselling. Also, they bring years of experience in training and education across various sectors.

All our programme trainers possess at least a diploma in a mental health-related field and undergo rigorous, structured training with us, including strict on-the-job training. Many of them are experienced facilitators who have worked with both schools and corporations. They are committed to continuous professional development, regularly upgrading their skills through additional training and certifications.
